My fav Pinterest board of yours is "Oh, So Organized Zones"! Why? because they are so pretty to look at, so ideal, so unattainable it seems...but one CAN dream, can't one?

I love your board "Oh So Cupcakes" - they are too beautiful to eat!

What do I love to organize...well given that my photos are organized and my house is in a state of disorganization, I'll go with photos! My favorite pinterest board is probably the Oh, So Organized Bath, because I found an idea right away that I can use for my daughter's large collection of nail polish! I've tweeted, commented on Facebook and followed the Pinterest board too!

My husband is a chef so Valentine's Day means home alone for me every year. Instead of feeling sorry for myself I decided many, many years ago to be my own Valentine. I make myself a nice dinner, pour myself a glass of wine, usually light a fire in the fireplace and have a lovely evening. That is my Valentine's tradition every year.

My favorite Pinterest board of yours is the Oh So Colorful one!

I'm pretty good at organizing my thoughts, but my material possessions rarely remain organized for long. I recently bought a shoe rack that hangs on the inside of my home office's door. It has helped de-clutter the cubbies near 2 of our 3 doorways.

February 5, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterEllen Comisar

What fun to have you all with us! I love reading your comments and tweets.

@Janeen- Dreaming is an essential part of organizing...a great beginning.

@Ellen D.- Thanks for being a regular contributor to the blog. Always appreciate the wisdom you share.

@Janet- I'm a huge cupcake fan. Do you have any favorite places in Canada? Unfortunately, I know way too many cupcake sources in my area. Have to control myself!

@Michelle- Love the full participation. Go Michelle! How cool that you found nail polish organizing inspiration on the "Bath" pinterest board! That's wonderful!

@Kimberly- What a beautiful Valentine's Day tradition! It's inspiring. Sounds like you're also a big fan of color, especially purple. Have a few purple goodies in the giveaway basket. Couldn't resist.

@Helena- Love sharing treats with all of you fabulous people! I appreciate how often you share your thoughts and expertise on the blog & beyond.

@Ellen C.- We all have our strengths. Being able to organize thoughts, as you're able to do, is a great one. Sounds like you've also figured out a good organizing solution by adding the shoe racks.

One of my fondest Valentine's Day memories was when I received a painted-styrofoam heart strewn with silk flowers from my husband (his 1st DIY project), at the time only a boyfriend. It was ugly, cheesy, but heartfelt and sincere, and i pretended to love it. It was extremely awkward when he saw it in the trash the following week. Until this day, he will not let me live that down. Wishing you'll a lovely Valentine's Day!

What I love "to" organize is really more about "why" I love to organize. I love looking at a cluttered space and brainstorming ways to make it work more efficiently or as a better use of space. Guess you could say I "love" problem solving!

February 5, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterChristy Lingo

LInda, you are always coming up with such clever ideas! I love how you do such a beautiful job of inviting your readers to be active participants in your blog. What I'm passionate about: I am passionate about helping to bring coaching to the world of organizing.

I am most passionate about making sure my CD clients are safe.
I love your oh so cupcakes! Board

February 6, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterRachel Seavey

So much fun seeing all of you here! It's like one big Valentine's Day party.

@Leslie- You know I'm a mongo Pinterest fan...or should I say, "addict?" Maybe too strong of a word choice? Grateful for your kind words on the visuals and the writing.

@Aileen- Love your styrofoam heart story. It's stories, history, and laughter like that, which we share with our partners that keeps our relationships connected.

@Margarita- You go Girl! Love your FULL participation.

@Christy- A passionate problem solver...absolutely wonderful!

@Andrea- Thank you. I suppose you could say I'm passionate about building community. So happy you're part of this one. We are lucky to have you share your passion about coaching with the organizing industry. Coaching enhances our effectiveness as organizers.

@Rachel- Safety is essential. Wonderful that you are watching out for your clients. And...nice to meet another cupcake fan. Love collecting pictures of them almost as much as I enjoy eating them.

Thanks again to all of you for joining in the fun! Great sharing here and on all the other social media channels. You're Oh, So Awesome!

I love to organize offices. My own. Others. Just love to clear the desktop, file important stuff and throw away lots of unnecessary paper! Shine everything nice and there you go!

February 6, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterSinea

I think your Oh, So Organized Office is my favorite of your Pinterest boards, probably because I love organizing paper so much. Also, I love that your Pinterest boards are so thematic and well-branded.

February 6, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterJulie Bestry

Happy, happy to see you wonderful people join us!

@Kelly- Like you, I love organizing kitchens & closets...especially love clothing closets so many beautiful colors and textures. Are you a black lab fan too? Our guy, Norton, passed away many years ago. He was awesome. The photo on the banner is not him, but a "virtual" one. Here's an actual photo:

@Sinea- Papers and offices are also wonderful to organize. So many of our clients struggle with paper. It's wonderful to be able to help them sort, organize and make sense from the piles. They are lucky to have your help.

@Julie- You too are a fan of office organizing. Great stuff! Glad you enjoyed my Pinterest board themes/branding. I have a lot of fun with those...perhaps a bit TOO much fun, if that's possible.

Good luck to all! So great to see you here.

@Kim- Thanks so much. That's cool that you can tell which pins are mine. No surprise that you like the "Tech" board. You're the tech maven. Any favorite new apps these days you like for organizing or productivity?

@Nicole- Awesome participation! Can see that you LOVE organizing too. It's very satisfying, isn't it? Do you also enjoy crafting?

Wonderful to have you both join the Giveaway fun! Enjoy & best of luck!

I love to organize my garden and the things on my computer...but inside the house and off the computer organization is something I really struggle with.

I'm passionate about the issue of modern slavery--most people don't know that there are more slaves today than there were before the civil war, many of them children.

For the third husband and I have both "released" each other from Valentines, because...well, even before kids it sort of seemed like someone else telling us to be romantic "right now, on this day, when everyone else in the country is trying to do something romantic too." But one year, after we had agreed not to celebrate husband bought me a cheesecake on Valentines, "for this sweet and cheesy holiday." It made me laugh and I asked him to do this every year. Its a tradition with the same humor that thrives in our marriage...

"Sexiness wears thin after a while and beauty fades, but to be married to a man who makes you laugh every day, ah, now that's a real treat."

I love all things organizing, but I especially love organizing books. One of my first "real" jobs as a teen was working in the library, and I continue to have fun organizing books. Sometimes I even catch myself organizing the books in the library or the bookstore. LOL. :)

February 8, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterBarbara Kelly

@Gale- Thank you for sharing with us. I especially love the Joanne Woodward quote and your V-Day cheesecake tradition. Just wonderful! You mentioned that you are great at organizing your garden and computer, but struggle with inside your home. What organizing strengths and skills are working for you? Could they be applied to other areas?

@Barbara- Sounds like the library was lucky to have you. If you haven't already seen it, you might enjoy looking at my "Oh, So Organized Books!" Pinterest board. Some inspiring visuals. Here's the link:

Great to meet you both. Best of luck with the giveaway!
